George Chambers identifies himself as a “solar power ‘peddler’” in a recent interview with Delmarva Now. However, Chambers is much more than that—the 70-year-old businessman is the driving force behind Lewes-based Solar Unlimited, a provider of solar-powered energy systems.
The firm just landed five new contracts in Mexico in the wake of a recent trade mission with our Export Advisor Beth Pomper.
Solar Unlimited projects $1 million in sales of solar water heating systems to five hospitals in Mexico—one of which is the largest in the region.
Chambers isn’t the only success story from the mission: All five participants reported solid leads from the trip, and the delegation’s projected sales are estimated in the millions over the next 12 months.
Opportunities for your business
The next trade mission to Mexico is scheduled for April 17 – 22, and spots are filling quickly!
The delegation will head to Monterrey and Mexico City for meetings with Mexican companies. These business-to-business meetings are customized for each company and arranged by Global Delaware in-country trade expert, Migel de Regil.
